Protecting Culture and Ecosystem for Development

Nduimet Eco-Cultural Tourism Enterprise (ECTE) is a community-based tourism program established in 2021 and following the guidelines for cultural tourism in Tanzania.

We focus on providing authentic Maasai cultural tourism experience to the local and the tourists from all over the world. We engage the native Maasai community in cultural expedition in a win win scenario that allow to improve their economic wellbeing and as well protecting their distinct culture, the environment and wildlife for sustainable development of the present and future generation.

OUR TEAM

NECTE has a multi-disciplinary team of seasoned professionals experienced in: tourism management and development, community development; environmental conservation; natural resources management; cultural preservation, wildlife conservation, forestry and beekeeping and arts and crafts . We are committed to growing communities’ livelihoods, while protecting culture, natural resources and habitats of the wildlife they coexist with.

HOW TO GET THERE

From Arusha or Moshi several public buses go to Boma N’gombe where you will take another bus to Sanya Juu then take another bus to Lerang’wa village. From Arusha is about 128km and from Moshi is 95km. Also our office can be reached through private or hired vehicles.

WHERE TO STAY

Accommodation facility available around Kilimanjaro resource center at Lerang’wa village nestled on the beautiful view between Kilimanjaro National Park and Amboseli National Park in Kenya with Maasai architectural stylish which accommodate 10 pax per night with hot shower also camping ground is available with hired camping gears from Arusha/Moshi.In the morning you will be awaked with lovely birds’ songs and you can see wild animals such as Giraffe, Zebra, Impala and more

Nduimet Eco & Cultural tourism Enterprise has been established in a vision to enhance community livelihood and as well supporting protection of natural habitats and environment for longer conservation of natural resources in Enduimet and nearby areas. We therefore give opportunity to diverse group of young and talented individuals to make a rampant impact to the community.
